This Stylish House Was Built Out Of 12 Shipping Containers, And Its Interior As Well As Exterior Look Superb

For each person, the definition of a dream house is different. While some are more fond of traditional dwellings, others are looking for new and innovative ways to build their perfect home. While building a house out of shipping containers is not exactly new, some people still manage to surprise us with their skills and ability to transform ugly metal boxes into cozy homes.

Recently, one such transformation received a lot of attention on Facebook. In one of the groups where people are sharing houses made out of containers, one man shared the before and after photos of the stunning project he did. The main house (the residence also includes a small cottage and a garage) was built using 12 shipping containers. For those interested in how much the project could cost, Refresh Renovations writes that a shipping container alone could set you back somewhere from $3,000 to $10,000.

“Designed with an industrial scale and theme, the open plan living areas feature a high atrium that houses a significant and prominent staircase interlinking the second-storied living spaces. Natural light is prevalent throughout the dwelling that features individual living zones, up to six bedrooms, three toilets, three bathrooms, and polished concrete floors to complete the industrial theme,” the description of the house reads.
