American Apparel have had a $300 million take over bid (a buy out) from investors backing Dov Charney.
If this goes through then it would mean a return to the company for the outed CEO. God knows what will happen as the company received this offer the day that it had its bankruptcy plans approved which would wipe out involvement from shareholders including Dov Charney.
Where do we go from here then?!
Can we please just put the company out of its misery and let it die peacefully!?
A hearing is set for January 20th to agree on the bankruptcy plan. Which means investors have until then to reach an agreement with the company.
Seems like we aren't going to run out of disco pants and overpriced T-shirts just yet then......
